What happens if I send a card and it is not delivered or played?
You can see in your Account a list of cards you have sent that have not yet been played. At any time you can recall these cards. An automatic email will be sent to the recipient noting that the BingoCard is no longer playable. The card will return to your account, ready to play or send again.
If I sent a card, can I tell if it won the jackpot?
No. For privacy reasons, if a person wins the Jackpot we do not inform anyone, other than to announce that there has been a winner. However, you can be certain that the person you sent it to is going to let you know!
If I send a card to myself, can I still play it?
Yes, you can either play the card straight from your account, or you can send it to yourself and play it as any other recipient might. We are not sure why someone would do this, but it is possible!
Can I refund my cards?
No. Once a Bingocard is purchased it cannot be refunded, but it will not expire until 2 years after purchase and can be played anytime.
Can I upload my own image file to send as a card?
Not Yet, but we plan to provide this service in the future.
How is the Jackpot paid out?
Jackpot winners are sent an International Money Order in their name that is ready to be cashed. The Money Order is sent by registered mail so we are certain it arrives.
How are the Sweepstakes paid out?
Sweepstakes winners are sent a pre-paid Visa Card in their name that is ready to be used. The card is sent by registered mail so we are sure it arrives. The card can be used just like a regular card with no strings attached.
How do you support charities?
BingoCards supports charities in two ways: $.08 of every dollar revenue goes into a Not-for-Profit Society partnered with Bingocards. This Society is independent, and awards bursaries and grants to youth programs according to their mandate (click to read more). BingoCards also partners with specific charities to raise funds by creating BingoCards that pay a portion of their revenue directly to the partnering charity (see the Charity Cards section of the Categories on the home page).
What laws apply if I win?
The laws of the country you live in will apply to you if you win the Sweepstakes or the Jackpot. |
